30 Day Sugar Detox

Live the Life You Crave

This program runs January 6 through February 4, 2020.  Registration for this program is currently closed.  This program will be available as a self-paced program in Spring, 2020 – check back then for details!

Are you tired of feeling tired?

Want to lose weight, sleep better, and start living the life you crave?

Ready to make changes to the way you eat, but not sure where to start?

Start here!

This program will help you to recognize the hidden sources of sugar in your life, look at WHY you are “using” this socially acceptable drug, teach you HOW it is affecting your health (likely without you realizing it), and EMPOWER you to change your life.

Eliminating sugar from your diet may be the number one most impactful change that you can make to begin improving your energy and health.

Think that’s a pretty big claim?

Stop and think that the average American consumes about 160 lbs of sugar every single year.  That works out to over 7 ounces of sugar every day of the year – almost a cup of sugar daily.

In 1800, Americans consumed 18 lbs of sugar per year.  By 1900, Americans consumed an average of 90 lbs per year.  The huge increase of sugar consumption lines up with our huge increase of chronic disease.  While increased sugar consumption is certainly not the only contributing factor in that rise of disease, the connection between sugar and declining health cannot be ignored.

Addictions Require Support

We understand that someone who is addicted to drugs will need support in order to successfully quit.

Did you know that sugar is even more addictive than cocaine?  Sugar lights up our brains the same way, eliciting an opiod like response.  The difference with sugar is that it is a socially acceptable drug. It’s everywhere, in everything, and used by almost everyone.  You could quit it alone.  But most of us find that support, like this program, is crucial to success with detoxing from and quitting sugar.

I participated in the detox last year, and was amazed at just how good I felt at the end! I won’t say it was always easy, but it was so worth it. Lori provides great support and information along the way to keep you motivated, too. I felt so good last time, that I’m doing it again this year!

  2. Katie (verified owner)

Lori is very knowledgeable and helped explain why this benefits us and what sugar does to our bodies. I did this last year and it changed things for me going forward. It gave me the energy and motivation to get into an exercise routine as well. She was very responsive to questions through her Facebook group and emails. This isn’t easy but her support helps. Definitely recommend.

  3. Kelly Worsencroft

The first year I participated in the sugar detox I saw great results in my sugar handling. I wasn’t getting “hangry” anymore and could easily make it to lunch without needing to refuel with a snack. This year I had my whole family sugar detox! My son, one of the most selective eaters on earth, was my biggest worry. Almost everything the kid consumed was sugar or processed food. I am so proud of my entire family. My husband lost 11 pounds. My 11 year old daughter’s behavior/mood swings improved drastically. Her sleep cycles improved. My 14 year old son’s sinus/allergy issues are better and things that tasted “disgusting” before taste “actually okay.” I highly recommend the sugar detox program to anyone looking to make a positive change in their health.

  4. Erica (verified owner)

I participated in the sugar detox this year. I’m so happy I did! My goals were to get healthier and to maybe lose some weight. I did both! I wasn’t sure I could do it, but it was easier than I thought. I just put my mind to it and stayed strong! I wanted it and made it happen! Lori did a wonderful job helping me stay on track! It helps to have a support system at home too!

I highly recommend doing the detox.

  5. Erica Waters (verified owner)

I participated in the sugar detox this year. I’m so very happy that I did participate. I had two goals to feel healthier and be all around healthy and my other goal was to maybe lose a little bit of weight. I did both! Lori helped me stay on track five Facebook posts. You really do need a support system in the people that participated were also very fantastic and supportive of anything that we had struggles with. I highly recommend doing this detox.
Having a support system at home also helps my husband didn’t do the detox but he did try to be as healthy as possible along with me. We now eat a lot more fruits, healthy fats, and vegetables in this house.
